Interview with Steven Ellis of the Department of Classics at the University of Cincinnati

Dr Steven Ellis is an assistant professor in the Department of Classics at the University of Cincinnati. Dr Ellis was recently featured on Apple's web site as crediting the introduction of six iPads at Pompeii with helping his team solve one of the most difficult problems of archaeological fieldwork: how to efficiently and accurately record the complex information they encounter in the trenches.

I spoke to him about archeology in general and his research on Pompeii.
