89 year old Rachel and her 1964 Mercury Comet Caliente with over 540,000 miles on it have seen it all and even survived her 3 husbands - "she’s never lied to me, never cheated on me and I can always depend on her”. ;-)
What a cool lady (and she knows more about what's under the hood of a car then Shawn ever will.) :-D

My first car
My first car was a 1967 Mercury Caliente (I bought it used)(they'd apparently removed the "Comet" by that time). It was a decent car, and I enjoyed driving it. Only thing I hated about it was that you practically had to drop the engine block to change the oil filter (No, I never did. I took it to a mechanic who had a special tool to remove/replace it).
