Using iCal to automatically tune in to YML

Just a quick tip.

1. Create an applescript w/ the following code:

tell application "QuickTime Player"
activate
getURL "http://www.yourmaclifeshow.com/QT/stream.mov"
end tell

2. Add an event to iCal for YML ( 8:30 - 11:00PM Eastern, repeating every week.)

3. Set the alarm to Run Script and assign it the script created in step 1, and set it to trigger 30 minutes before the start time (this should get you in on the pre-show as well.)

And that's it. Now, every Wednesday evening, you'll be automatically tuned in to the show!
