Will You Buy Leopard on the 1st Weekend?

for the explosions to cease, the fires to be extinguished and the carting off of the dead and wounded to commence. Plus ain't no one paying me to be a beta tester.

As a good geek, some mac friends and I are going for beers after work on Friday. Then at 6 pm we will show up at the campus computer store to pick up our copies of Leopard (all pre-ordered). I figure that we will have it installed by 6:45 and working on it by 7. I have already scheduled a full cloning of my system for tomorrow night after I finish working, probably around 1 or 2 am. I can't wait to see how much faster it will run my code, once it is recompiled for full 64 bit! That will approach nirvanna! And what a way to spend a Friday night! ... of course my wife will make me pay for it on Sat night... it is her turn to pick the movie and I won't be able to whine about it this time...
