SmileOnMyMac has released DiscLabel 4.4, an update of its award-winning CD/DVD label design software for Mac OS X. The update features an adjustable contrast option that will improve legibility when using a LightScribe drive to laser-etch designs on CD/DVD discs. LightScribe is a laser CD/DVD burning technology developed by HP and found in many popular brands of disc burners. Its announced enhancements yesterday that would reduce graininess and improve fine detail reproduction.
