Hundreds greet Glasgow Apple Store

From Macworld UK
Hundreds of enthusiastic Mac users greeted the opening of Apple's first Scottish retail store on Glasgow's Buchanan Street last weekend.

The first in the queue had been in position for 26-hours by the time the shop - Apple's tenth in the UK - opened for business.

Glasgow's local user group, GlasMug, also turned out in force for the opening - which also marked that group's achievement of Recognized User Group status from Apple.
