Welcome to the World, Eli!
Announcing the arrival of little (and I do mean *little*) Eli William George Marton (middle names courtesy of the 2 grandpa's), who entered the world (and Sly's world) on Monday, July 23, 2007 at 9:06am, weighing in at just 4lbs .02oz and 18" long.
All his fingers, toes and dangly bits are present and accounted for and although he gave his mom and dad quite the scare and left mom on bedrest for 2 months prior to his early (by 3 weeks) arrival, he's doing great and is the star of the special care nursery in North Vancouver's Lions Gate Hospital.
Auntie Sly met little Eli for the first time yesterday and it was love at first sight.

Little Eli is home!
Eli went home today or as my brother called and told me, "Operation Eli is now complete". :-)
He still weighs just 4lbs (surprised me that they didn't wait until he weighed 5lbs, but hey, they gotta throw ya out as quick as possible these days). But in all fairness, he's doing really well and I got to see him on Friday night, hold him for the first time, which was great. New pics have been added to his album, if you feel like taking a look, please do.
