Sly's Latest Pics - Assignment: Eli Close Up and Umm...a Brick! :-)

For those of you following the bouncing ball, my last assignment using the Olympus E-Volt 510 was to try and get closeup pictures of my nephew Eli* and a brick. (Yes, I said brick.) ;-)

BTW, the story of my search for the perfect brick can be found here, which happily resulted in me discovering a surprise feature of the Olympus E-510.

Now because the rain goddesses were laughing at me and decided to open up the skies at the very moment I got outside to take pictures, I didn't take as many as I would have liked, but here are the pictures I did take since last Wednesday's show, with a few extra thrown in for good measure (ok, more so in case the "assignment" pictures sucked rocks). :-)

*I'm happy to report that after having a rather shakey entrance what with being born 3 weeks early and only 4lbs, Eli is now a healthy 10lbs and change.
