Boot Camp and Windows XP from Virtual PC?

Hi, I have a 2.16 GHz INtel Core 2 duo, 20" iMac with 1 GB of 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM and I would like to know if I can run Boot Camp on this iMac with the Windows XP CD I have from an old Conectix Virtual PC version 6. The problem that I have is that the two retail versions of Windows XP that I own do not have the Service Pack 2 installed on them. They have to be downloaded and installed later. Is there anyway to avoid having to buy yet another copy of Windows XP in order to use Boot Camp?

From T. Patrick: Unless that

From T. Patrick:

Unless that CD from Virtual PC 6 is a full copy of XP with it's own
serial number *and* it has Service Pack 2 built in you'll need to by
another copy.

Note: even if you have a separate serial number and service pack 2
there is a possibility Microsoft did something special with that CD
so it would only work with Virtual PC 6. There's no way to know for
sure.

FYI, with only 1 GB of RAM your going to be a bit cramped because
you'll want to do a custom setup and allocate 512 to Windows XP when
it's running (you'll need to run antivirus software and a firewall
even in a virtual machine so you need the room).

Hope that helps.
