Adobe is becoming Microsoft
OK, I just installed my Photoshop CS3 Extended.
Is it just me or does it fell like Adobe is becoming Microsoft with all of the registration hoops and especially the HUGE install of components and stuff it put all over my hard drive. I've been look at some of the suite installs that folks have been talking about on the 'net and these things are huge! I know they are big app and big packages but it feels like overkill and kinda scary IMHO....

kinda scary because i still shudder in fear when I think about a Microsoft office install from years ago that put crap all over the system which caused many crashes and really bogged everything down. I think I just like my system to be left alone and not have new apps and extensions and components and stuff scattered all around upon install. what happened to those days when an application just went into the application folder and that was it ?!
