My sister-in-law's parents live in West Vancouver, their backyard/garden "goes up" instead of out and is beautiful. Seems it's so beautiful that the bears like it too:

Well, gotta point out that I wasn't there, the pics were taken by my sister-in-law's dad at his house. Seems the bear likes the garden; they're not the type of people to leave garbage out so, perhaps it's a bear with a green thumb. ;-)

When "she" made a return visit on Monday, apparently she brought along her 2 cubs. Certainly made it a more dangerous situation. I still don't know if the bears were captured that second time or just shooed away.

Amazing creatures though.
