Roxio Toast 9

Hey I think last year you did some research on the mess that Roxio made with the entire Toast 8 rebate problem. I never got mine. Well now Roxio strikes again with the upgrade to Toast 9. They are sending out emails where you click on the link and it takes you to the 99.00 price with a 20.00 rebate offer. No link to the UPGRADE price of 59.00! You actually have to HUNT on the website for an upgrade offer.
I am so sick of Roxio jerking their customers around!!!!! If it isn't sneaky rebate/marketing practices it is ignoring customer complaints about problems with their software (i.e. problems with TivoToGo)! It is time the Mac community rises up against this crap and we all take a stand! I would love to see MacWorld and other magazines look into these problems. Not to single out Roxio but the company that makes Parallels is just as bad when it comes to customer service and ignoring customer complaints. For the most part most of the Mac software companies are really good (i.e. Ambrosia, etc....). Anything you can do to light a fire under reporter types and others you have an "in" with you help a great many of us in the Mac user community.
