I was too long away from YML, and I lost my account. Finally got around to getting a new one, I log in tonight, introduce myself and head for I & I, just like the old days. Where I thought of it as in the basement. And you had to teach me how to play the Name Game. And I tried to teach you how to speak Canadian.
What am I babbling about? The shock and concern I felt when I read of your loss. I wish I could express it in some other meaningful way, but I am thinking of you, and hoping you are coming through it, at your own pace.
I've read your site and your account of what happened. I am sorry. Maybe I shouldn't post this here, and I don't even know if you are visiting here right now, but since I'm late sending condolences, maybe this is ok.

I followed her site for a while after her tragic loss, and sometime in January it went silent. What's going on, does anyone know?

I do believe she is maintaining, plotting and planning, a few ch-ch-changes maybe in the works. Continuing the work of continuing.
Leave a Dr. Pepper and some Doritos out on the table. You never know when she might creep back in on little duh feet. The poor thang will need a snack. Stealthy creeping is hard work when you're sporting bright red hair, a turquoise bowling shirt and not wearing any pants...

Duh successfully completed the drive from Kansas to North Carolina. I iChatted with her yesterday. She's interviewing for jobs and acclimating herself to the East Coast's more Southern states with it's un-Kansas like hills and valleys.
Tried to talk her into moving to Central NY with some recent Graphic Design openings here, but she is allergic to shoveling snow I think! I can't blame her for that, esp. after my snow shoveling induced back injury that has lasted 2 months and I'm finally back to work full time.

Hey Dan! I had so much fun
Hey Dan! I had so much fun again at Macworld '08. I'd nothing better than the Old Gang together at SF this year.
I don't know though, I've spent too much on kiddie racecar refurbs, a Toy hauler to drag it around, a new Toyota Tundra to drag both around half of NYS, and a Learning Centers 30mi away, for the kid in an attempt to organize his butt before entering 7th grade (that's where I am on Wednesday nights and not YML chat). Not to mention my Subaru is 11 years old this year! : P
Not sure how much I'll have left to sponsor myself to Macworld. The department pays every OTHER year. 2009 is an OTHER year. We'll see, might have to resume teaching riding lessons for some extra cash here. I kinda miss teaching anyway. I definitely miss the Hunter/Jumper Shows. The car races are fun for the kid and Kenny, but not the sport of my heart! Ryan's almost old enough for he and his dad to do the races alone so I can do my horses again!
