Very Addicted
I essentially buy anything Apple puts out, although this does not stretch to one of every model computer! I do have a G5 with aluminium 23" Apple Cinema Display, new model Bluetooth keyboard, Bluetooth Mighty Mouse, an iBook and a G3 iMac. I've got one of each of the 4 classes of latest iPods, I've got Apple TV. I gave up a Linksys wireless modem/router to get the Airport Extreme 11.n base station. I've even got 2 La Cie external drives (part-owned by Apple, I believe). I have the original iSight camera. I've also got accessories such as Nano lanyard headphones, in-ear headphones, radio remote, 3 universal docks, etc. I love it! I feel that Apple solves problems with their products, so I'd rather have theirs than some other brand's.
Oh, and with Regard to the iPhone
To clarify the obvious omission of the iPhone: I live in Australia and therefore can't buy one. I'm unwilling to buy a modified phone. I'm waiting for an official release.
iPod Socks
Did you buy iPod Socks?
Apples for 27 years!
I first used an Apple ][+ in 1980 as a summer student. I bought my first Apple in grad school in 1982...$2500 for an Apple //e, 2 floppy drives and Zenith monochrome display (green of course). Since then my wife and I have owned a total of 16 Macs, and just about every accessory known to Apple...... and I do have the ipod socks and I am using one for my new cell phone (no iphone in Canada).
No Socks, But I'm Old too!
I eschewed the socks as an oddity.
I also came in on the Apple ][+, in 1983 at high school. I bought my first computer, an Apple //c with the razor-sharp 9" Apple CRT monitor, in 1985. Since then I came up through the ranks of Apple //e, Apple //GS and then Macintosh, starting with a PowerBook 140, then a IIsi, then a 2nd-Gen G3 iMac and finally to my current-day collection.
