Hello all you freaky darlings.

My name is Steve aka CheekyGit. I have enjoyed listening and watching YML for about 6 years now. I finally ramped up the courage to register myself and join in the fun.

I chose the name CheekyGit because I enjoy watching British TV, especially comedy. CheekyGit basically means "pompous idiot or bastard" in American-ese. I'm really a nice guy but I do fly of the handle occasionally.

2 years ago I separated from the Air Force (yes, our side) after 16 years and 8 months of service. I make a living now as a currency trader at home. I make enough to pay the bills and put food on the table. Please, no questions about the economy because I'm no expert in economics and I would just make a fool of myself (which wouldn't be the first time).

Stuff I enjoy doing: Listening to "good" music (i.e. Metallica, Megadeth, Ozzy, Def Leppard, etc.), watching drag racing and Formula 1 racing (NASCAR too, but only as a last resort), eating, shopping.

Tech that I have: Dual 1Ghz PowerMac G4 "Quicksilver" and 2 Powerbook G3 "Pismos". Looking to upgrade so if anyone is interested in taking these guys off my hands, let me know. I have a 20 GB iPod Photo. Dell laptop for my currency trading.
